Be sure to register 2 separate teams in the 2 Team Registration Link so you get the discount. 

For example:

You have a U12 team called PA Rockets that you want to enter as 2 groups. 

1) Register 1 Group as PA Rockets White and the other Group as PA Rockets Black. 

2)You choose the colors - just be sure you register both teams.

The upstairs track area is OFF LIMITS. No spectators, children or exercising on the track please per school policy.  Thank you.

LEAGUE RULES

Competition Format & Rules

Each Team is guaranteed 8 40-minute games.  It is a running clock.  Each team has 1 1- Minute stoppage in play to huddle and talk, BUT THE CLOCK KEEPS RUNNING SO IT'S ONLY A TIME OUT NOT A TIME STOP.

There are no playoffs.

All games are 5-A-Side = 4 field players and 1 goalkeeper.


Official futsal FIFA Rules and Regulations as stated under the Laws of The Game will be enforced. Exceptions are noted below under House Rules. You may print up a copy of the Laws of the Game at the US Youth Futsal website.

House Rules to the Laws of the Game:

1. Goalkeeper cannot throw the ball into the opponent’s penalty arc
2. Kick-offs and kick-ins are indirect.
3. Goalkeeper cannot drop kick or punt the ball.
4. If a player is ejected from a match, a referee’s report of the incident shall be submitted to the Main Line All Girls Futsal directors by the referee. The minimum penalty for an ejection is that the player shall not be permitted to play in the immediate next match. The maximum penalty, after review by the Main Line All Girls Futsal Directors, may result in the individual players or teams’ expulsion from the competition.
5. Game length is 40-minutes running clock.
6. ABSOLUTELY NO SLIDE TACKLING - No Exceptions
7.  The pass back rule will be played at all age groups. Once the keeper touches the ball, they cannot play the ball again until ball is touched by an opponent.
8.   Each team may call 1 1-minute time out per game.  Please note that only the play stops while the clock continues to run.
9. The Home team is the team that is listed first on the Schedule.  In the case of a jersey conflict, home team must change jerseys or wear pinnies.  
10.  Visiting teams kicks off first.

Registration

  • One parent or coach must register the team online BY 11/25/19
  • A team roster will be sent to the person who registered the team upon acceptance into the tournament
  • Rosters must be completed with accompanying parent signatures for each player and submitted to the sign-in table at least 15 minutes prior to your team's first game

 

Rules

  • Scoring: Win = 3 points Tie = 1 point Loss = 0 points
  • Tie Breakers: 1) Head to Head 2) Goal Differential 3) Most Goals Scored 4) Least Goals Allowed
  • No Goalkeepers!  Only 3 field players on the court at a time 
  • Substitution is on the fly
  • 3 player minimum and 6 player maximum
  • 12-Minute Games with Running Clock
  • Official futsal balls will be used and provided by the tournament
  • All kick-offs, kick-ins and free kicks are INDIRECT and the ball MUST BE STATIONARY
  • All kick-ins  must be taken within 4 seconds
  • Kick-offs must be taken within 4 seconds after a goal
  • All free kicks will be taken from the spot of the foul
  • No use of hands, No diving, No slide tackling
  • Free kick distance between ball and opposing players is 10 feet
  • Balls out over the end line will be either a goal kick or corner kick
  • Games will start with a kick-off on the center line by the home team (listed first on the schedule)
  • Players must wear the same color tops.  Any conflicts in colors, the home team will change or wear pinnies
  • Decisions of the referees are final
  • The tournament director resolves all conflicts - No protests
  • The tournament director reserves the right to alter the rules and/or schedule in case of unforeseen circumstances
  • The only areas open to the tournament are the gym, the hallway and the restrooms - THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE POOL, THE FITNESS CENTERS, THE TRACK, THE OFFICES, MEETING ROOMS, SQUASH COURTS.

 

Format

  • 2 Games will run simultaneously 
  • Games are 12 minutes long with 3 minutes between games
  • Games will start at 9:00 am and each round will start 3 minutes afterwards on the dot: ie 9:9:00 am, 9:15 am, 9:30 am, 9:45 am, 10:00 am, 10:15 am, etc.
  • NOTE: The tournament director reserves the right to combine age groups in order to create a more positive tournament experience for the participants
  • Younger age groups will start first
  • Divisions will be comprised as follows:

4 Team (1 Bracket)
Each team will play the others in their bracket for 3 preliminary games and championship will be 1st vs. 2nd place teams

5 Team (1 Bracket)
Each team will play the others in their bracket for at total of 4 preliminary games and the 1st place team (champion) will be determined by the total number of points from these games.  No final.

6 Team (2 Brackets of 3 Teams Each)
Each team will play 2 preliminary games in their bracket.  1st place teams in each bracket will play each other for the championship while the 2nd & 3rd place teams will place consolation games for their 3rd game.

8 Team (2 Brackets of 4 Teams Each)
Each team will play the others within their bracket for a a total of 3 preliminary games.  The 1st place teams in each bracket will play each other for the championship.  No consolation game.
