Captains' Practice Leadership Conference by Live Like Blaine

LLB hosts an annual leadership conference on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day for current and future female high school athletic leaders. The inaugural conference was held in January 2016 at The William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia and brought together over 150 girls from 50 diverse high schools in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area.The event combines hands-on team building and leadership training with inspiring talks from female leaders in athletics and business. Attendees also participate in a community service project.


THE MISSION of the Live Like Blaine Foundation is to empower and inspire young women to become leaders through fitness and athletics. We hope to share Blaine’s spirit with young female athletes and leaders so that they see life as a series of opportunities rather than hurdles. We create and support projects that encourage these women to lead by example with Blaine’s combination of grace and determination.
