“Danielle was the second female soccer coach that I have had the opportunity to play for. I began playing for her my freshman year in high school up until my senior year, in which the team was able to capture 2 state titles my sophomore and junior year, a district title my sophomore year, and central league titles my freshman, junior, and senior year. But what I have realized through all our success is what it took to get us there, and how I grew from my 4 years of playing for Danielle. I think the biggest thing I grasped from my experience of having Danielle as a coach is the importance of a team's chemistry and unity. I have learned that a team can be as talented as the next, but what is going to set them apart from the other is their desire to play, and not just to play, but to play together as a team. Danielle took the time to instill in us more than just how to strategize and play the game of soccer. She instructed us in how to be successful in life, in how to earn respect, and in how to strive to get what we want and what we deserve. I have never been on a team like Conestoga soccer. Being on that team made my high school experience unforgettable and if anyone were to ask me what I liked most about high school I would say, without hesitation, Conestoga soccer.“ Katie Dunn, Former Captain and Player for Conestoga High School Varsity Girls’ Soccer and Current Player for University of Albany Women’s Soccer |
“Danielle has had an exceedingly positive impact on our daughter Brooksey, both on and off the field. Her caring concern for her as a total individual and not merely just as a soccer player is evident in all of her interactions with Brooksey, as well as the rest of the team. Her holistic approach to coaching which includes emphasizing character building and living a healthy lifestyle puts her light years ahead of other coaches we have known. Danielle recognized our daughter’s love for soccer and has helped her understand the sport and become a better player. Danielle knows how to push her players to get more out of themselves all in a fun enjoyable atmosphere.”
“While Danielle is clearly an excellent coach and Brooksey has improved her soccer skills as a result of her expertise, more importantly Danielle has helped shape her into a confident, happy and well rounded girl. We hope our daughter continues to be coached by Danielle for many years.”

“Danielle was a coach and mentor to me for many years, as I grew up playing with Lower Merion Soccer Club. As a member of many of her teams, she taught me the importance of work ethic during and after practice, and to win and lose gracefully. But most of all, she helped foster a commitment to giving your best effort and team work; life skills that extend far beyond the soccer field. Danielle has played a huge role in my development as a player and person, I am now working in the soccer world and camp industry, many thanks to her support, guidance and giving me the solid foundation to succeed.”
Francie Shafer, Project Manager, Philadelphia Union Soccer Schools at ESF Summer Camps

“I've known Danielle for more than 20 years. As a former high school teacher and coach, I see her as a tremendously talented coach--one of the best--who truly understands how to work with children and teens to get the most out of them. She knows how to put players through the paces of a training session while making it fun--so much so that they don't realize how much they are learning and how hard they are working!”
James Staples, Parent

“Danielle is knowledgeable, dedicated and the hardest working coach I have ever met. Her records and accomplishments speak for themselves. Danielle has the ability to recognize the raw talent in an athlete. Her real strength is her ability to cultivate and discipline that talent so athletes perform at their highest possible level. Danielle's real gift is her passion for excellence which instills by her mentoring style on and off the field.”
Kathy Greeley, Parent

"Danielle teaches the players not only how to play great soccer, but also many important life lessons, She allows [them] to think for themselves on the field, to make crucial, consequential decisions and to deal with results in a way that their experiences help them to make different and/or better decisions next time. This . . . goes a long way in making [them] more capable and confident in their lives on and off the field."
